Sealing Machine Air Bladders
Sealing machine air bladders are inflatable pressure elements fitted behind a sealing bar, clamping assembly or flexible pressure surface. Their function is to distribute force across the working width so film, bags or coated materials receive more consistent contact during the sealing cycle. GRFFN supplies custom red air bladder profiles for replacement and OEM applications.
Application Advantages
- Flexible pressure transfer across long sealing widths
- Custom profiles for confined installation spaces
- Repeated inflation and deflation for cyclic machinery
- Cut lengths and connection arrangements matched to the machine
- Cross-section samples can be evaluated for replacement projects

Selection and Replacement
A correct replacement depends on the installed cross-section, available expansion space and pressure cycle. Measure the uninflated profile, overall length, wall construction and air connection. Also identify the machine model, sealing temperature, inflation pressure and cycle rate. Do not select only by flat width, because two profiles with similar width may expand differently.
Quality Checks
Recommended checks include dimensional inspection, low-pressure inflation, leak testing, port retention and a trial cycle in the machine. Final working pressure and temperature limits should be approved for the exact profile and operating conditions.
