Silicone Coated Fabric for Heat and Insulation Applications
GRFFN silicone coated fabric combines a flexible woven reinforcement with a silicone surface. The coated construction provides a clean, durable barrier that can be cut, folded and installed around industrial equipment, pipes and removable insulation systems. It is available in orange, red, blue and custom constructions.
Performance Features
- Flexible under repeated folding and thermal cycling
- Good tensile and tear stability from the woven reinforcement
- Resistance to ageing, ozone and outdoor weather exposure
- Useful sealing, thermal insulation and equipment-protection properties
- Smooth coated surface that can be cleaned more easily than untreated fabric
Technical Parameters
| Construction | Silicone coating on woven reinforcement; exact substrate confirmed per grade |
|---|---|
| Coating | One-side or two-side coating options |
| Color | Orange, red, blue or custom |
| Thickness | Custom according to insulation and flexibility requirements |
| Width / Roll Length | Made to order |
| Service Temperature | Grade-dependent; source product data lists -60 to 300 degrees C for selected constructions |
| Surface | Smooth or lightly textured |
| Documentation | Flame, food-contact or other compliance documents must be requested and confirmed for the selected grade |
Typical Uses
Applications include removable insulation jackets, pipe and equipment wrapping, flexible heat barriers, expansion-joint layers, sealing curtains and protective covers. The required construction depends on temperature, mechanical load, outdoor exposure and contact media.
Quotation Data
Please specify thickness, width, roll length, coating side, color, continuous and peak temperature, required reinforcement and any test standard. For fabricated covers, provide a drawing with seam, eyelet and closure details.
